Overview
Quran Reading with Tajweed has immense important in the preservation of Quran and its authority, as correction and beauty of the words leads to the production of perfect meanings. It is obligatory for every Muslim, kids, and adults to read the Holy Quran with Tajweed.

By offering a strictly one-on-one setup, each student’s unique challenges are thoroughly addressed. The 30-minute window is sufficient to practice reading passages while leaving room for tutor feedback. Tutors adeptly gauge learning curves, adjusting pace and lesson complexity as needed.
Course Outline
- Recitation of the Quran with appropriate Arabic accent
- Recitation with Tarteel and Hadar
- How the Quranic letter forms change over time
- How much harakaat must be extended
- The locations where recitation should either stop or continue
- Use the Izhar, Ikhfa, Idgham, and Iqlab rules
- Follow the Izhar-e-Shafawi, Ikhfa-e-Shafawi, and Idgham-e-Shafawi guidelines
- Reading of the Quran from Surah Al-fatiha to Surah An-Nas
Throughout this syllabus, students engage in practical reading of actual Quranic text, starting from Al-Fatiha and moving onward. Each lesson dives deeper into key Tajweed rules, demonstrating how letters transform when combined. Tutors also discuss the spiritual significance of applying these rules properly.
The student must be familiar with Arabic vowels, including sukhoon, madd, tanween, and shaddah, as well as the makharij of Arabic letters, word joining, and reading. If you are unfamiliar, all you need to do is complete the Noorani Qaida Basic Course before beginning to read the Quran.
A strong internet connection and a reliable device (like a laptop or tablet) enable smooth online sessions. Consistent practice outside of class is equally vital—reciting short passages daily helps reinforce newly acquired techniques. Having a digital or physical copy of the Quran at hand is also beneficial for continuous reading.
Once done with this course, students are able to read Quran with Tajweed.
